THE JUBILEE CLOCK

Over a time span of 7 years, Martin Rowling a blacksmith by trade, endeavoured to build the Culworth village clock completely by hand, using only the skills and techniques a blacksmith of two hundred years ago would utilise.  With even the smallest rivet being made by hand – it was a true labour of love. The choice of the unusual single-handed 6-hour dial saves a lot of laborious engineering but also gives greater accuracy than a similar 12-hour clock.
